MISSING LETTERS IV: TRICK

So you’re after a challenge, then? Well, same rules as last time—but with a twist...

In a normal HH Missing Letters game, the answers are all nice, easy-to-remember three-letter words, like boy and man, or cat and dog. Click PLAY in the box below, however, and you’ll be given 30 sets of three consonants. Above them, as usual, will be a nine-letter word with its middle three letters missing—all you have to do is pick the correct consonant cluster to fill in the gap. So if the clue was KNO___OWN, you’d pick CKD to spell KNOCKDOWN. If the clue was DOW___AGE, you’d pick NST to spell DOWNSTAGE. Yep, searching for random bunches of consonants isn’t as easy as it sounds. Oh, and there’s still only three minutes on the clock...

Let us know how you get on over on Twitter—and good luck!
