MISSING LETTERS : CONSONANTS

Goodness gracious. Sometime over our summer hiatus (it’s been a busy few months here at HHHQ—we needed a holiday), the good old HH Twitter account added it’s 50,000th follower.

 

Seeing as we’re is now rocketing our way towards the 52,000 mark, it’s a little bit late to have party. But, hey—there’s always time for a quick game, right? Yep, our fiendish fill-in-the-blanks game is back. And it’s more fiendish than ever...

Click PLAY in the box below, and you’ll be shown 30 sets of consonants. Above them will be a 10-letter word with some of its letters missing. All you have to do is pick the correct consonant string to complete the word.

 

So if the clue was CO____AINT, you’d pick the letters NSTR to spell CONSTRAINT. If the clue was HA____ACK, you’d pick TCHB, because it can fill in the gap to spell HATCHBACK. Get the idea? Good. Now see how you get on with just 3 minutes on the clock...
