MISSING LETTERS: EXPERT!

Oh, you clever thing. You clicked on that suspicious looking gift box on our Missing Letters page and found this super-difficult version of the game...

Click PLAY in the box below, and you’ll be shown another 30 sets of four consonants. But whereas our normal game asked you to match them with thirty 10-letter words, this time, the target are decidedly more obscure 11-letter templates. But the rules are still the same: all you have to do is pick the correct consonant string to complete the word.

 

So if the clue was MA____ALLOW, you’d pick the letters RSHM to spell MARSHMALLOW. If the clue was HA____ITING, you’d pick NDWR, because it can fill in the gap to spell HANDWRITING. Get the idea? Good. Now see how you get on with just 3 minutes on the clock. And let’s just say these words are going to be a little tougher than marshmallow and handwriting...
