THE “A” GAME: EXPERT!

Oh, you clever, clever thing... You’ve only gone and worked out that there are Easter Eggs of all our HH word games hidden on each page. Kudos to you!

But if you’re smart enough to have found this, then presumably you’re smart enough to handle an even tougher version of our new A Game? Well, there’s only one way to find out, right? 

​

The rules are precisely the same as before: click PLAY in the box below, and you’ll be given the dictionary definition of a 9-letter word beginning with A, with the letters needed to spell it jumbled up into alphabetical order somewhere in the grid below it. This time, however, the clues and the words are much tougher words—so there’s nothing like “ambulance”, “anthology” and “albatross” here. But there is an extra minute on the clock—we’re not that nasty...
