Happy Easter everyone! And what better way to spend a long weekend than taxing your brain with a devilish new HH word game...

If you’re signed up to the Haggard Hawks newsletter, you’ll already be familiar with our Template game: given a template of letters and spaces, all you have to do is work out the one dictionary word that fits it. So if the clue was H__GA_D, the answer would be HAGGARD, as that’s the only word that fits. Get the idea? Good. Sound easy? Good...

Some people find this game ridiculously hard. Some people find it frustratingly easy. So here’s a game to sort the haggards from the hawks. Click PLAY in the box below, and you’ll be give a list of 40 templates. How many of them can you solve inside just 4 minutes? Type your answers into the box at the top of the grid, and if you’re correct they’ll match automatically.
